Clothing Recommendations and Local Customs
For Men:
- We recommend wearing T - shirts and long board shorts when outside the resort
- Please keep your shirt on and wear thongs/shoes in public areas and when riding scooters
- Avoid wearing singlets or tank tops outside the resort.
For Women:
- Opt for comfortable, modest clothing that covers your knees, chest, and shoulders . This attire should also be suitable for surfing and visiting places outside the resort
- Bikinis or swimsuits are acceptable at the pool and during boat trips to deserted islands where no locals are pre sent
- We recommend packing: Leggings, sarongs or long skirts, large breathable shirts, and flowing, comfortable pants

Alcohol Restrictions
- Under Sharia Law, alcohol is prohibited in public spaces
- Discreet consumption is permitted within the resort , but it is strictly forbidden outside the premises
- Guests may bring one duty - free bottle of alcohol per person
Cultural Etiquette
- Left Hand: Avoid using your left hand when greeting Muslims or handing items to them, as it is traditionally considered unclean
- Public Affection: Holding hands, hugging, or kissing in public is considered disrespectful . P lease limit displays of affection to within the resort premises
